Project Story
The site is located in Allbrook, close to the town of Eastleigh. The development will comprise 49 well designed, attractive new homes, with policy compliant provision of affordable homes. Extensive areas of public open space, a new children’s play area and connections to an existing Public Right of Way all add to the overall high quality design of this development.
Our Planning Journey
Our involvement began with the preparation and submission of a request for pre-application advice to Eastleigh Borough Council, where we led and worked closely with Officers and the client team to agree the detailed site layout, landscaping, scale and overall design approach for the new dwellings. Alongside this, we ran a community engagement exercise, inviting the views of the wider community, including presenting the proposals to Allbrook Parish Council. Following community consultation, we prepared, submitted and successfully negotiated an application for reserved matters for the construction of 49 residential dwellings.
Making a difference
The development provides much needed, high quality new homes, including affordable homes, along with attractive public open space, which will benefit generations to come.
