The SPD was created on for Havant BC, but also for the people of Waterlooville. The aim of the document is to set a vision for the town centre, taking into account a variety of factors including residential, commercial and environment needs.

Headed by Feria Urbanism, we were appointed after a process involving a number of different teams. Close interaction with the Council and the client team was required to produce the outcome, whilst engaging with residents. This culminated in the production of the SPD – a successful collaborative effort between residents, the client team and consultant team.

3 series of consultation events took place to result in the final masterplan document. Local resident connections were built and full engagement with them was imperative for the success of the output, which was achieved over months of events. This included walking tours at the end of 2023, followed up by the Festival of Ideas (January 2024) and final event (March 2024) later on to refine the needs of the town and its residents towards a successful outcome and future.
